I attended a church conference over the weekend that was not only spiritual but was educational as well…the sleeping arrangements..yikes…we will talk about that later, lol 🤔. One of the presenters spoke about the benefits of juicing, using natural remedies for different illnesses and the benefits of different oils. During this presentation, I was reminded about how I grow up watching my grandmother used some of the ingredients being talked about on a daily basics. I remember my grandmother and mom using Vaseline on their skin….and believe me..they had beautiful skin. I remember growing up, especially on Sunday’s, when the coconut was freshly grated, my grandmother would have me rub the coconut trash on my skin, let it dry, then brush the trash off with a dry cloth..I would use coconut oil on my skin in place of lotion, not because I knew it was good for my skin, but because I didn’t have lotion..lol 😃Now here we are trying to go back to what our fore parents did. Some even thinking that they invented something new…mmmmm…if we had only listened to our fore parents and continued their traditions.
So I decided to at lease go back to juicing, I went grocery shopping. The above picture of just seven ingredients is what I juiced. Banana 🍌 ginger, red onion 🧅 (yikes), kale 🥬, baby spinach, cucumber 🥒, celery and black cherry juice. Don’t worry about the taste of the onion 🧅, the banana and ginger takes care of that. I even have my husband drinking it with me. Try it my friends, it might not be love at first drink, but the benefits are good. Builds your immune system.
Until next time, walk good. #LiveLiveLaugh
I’m all for the natural stuff and i don’t worry about the taste all I’m concern about is the benifits. I still use Vaseline on my body when I’m going to bed and on my lips. Will try this green juice.
